Geysir, sometimes known as The Great Geysir, is a geyser in southwestern Iceland. The research of sinter shows that Geysir has been active for approximately 10,000 years. History of recent centuries shows that earthquakes have tended to revive the activity of Geysir which then subsides again in the following years. Before 1896, Geysir was almost dormant before an earthquake that year caused eruptions to begin again, occurring several times a day, lasting up to an hour and causing spouts of up to 60 metres in height. In 1910, it was active every 30 minutes; five years later the time between the eruptions was as much as six hours, and in 1916, the eruptions all but ceased. [Wiki]

Futuroscope, or Parc du Futuroscope is a French theme park based upon multimedia, cinematographic futuroscope and audio-visual techniques. The big blue statue of a rearing mustang at Denver International Airport drew praise and hatred from the very beginning. "Mustang," the giant sculpture by Luis Jimenez, who was crushed by the horse during its construction, turns 5 on Feb. 11, which is an important milestone for public art in Denver. Puya alpestris is a species of bromeliad native to Chilean Andes and grown as an ornamental plant. Is a terrestrial bromeliad related to the pineapple. The Blue-and-Yellow Macaw (Ara ararauna), also known as the Blue-and-Gold Macaw, is a large blue (top parts) and yellow (under parts) South American parrot, a member of the large group of Neotropical parrots known as macaws. There has been a small breeding population in Miami-Dade County, Florida, since the middle 1980's. Abraham Lake is an artificial lake on North Saskatchewan River in western Alberta, Canada. It was built on the upper course of the North Saskatchewan River, in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies.
