Its stomach when filled with water looks round in shape. The puffers have large clear eyes and can swim fast. These help them to avoid predators. The fish that swallow the puffer get poisoned. The organs which contain poisons are liver and intestines. The large species of fish like shark or whale do not have any effect when puffer is swelled. But the poison in a puffer can kill human beings. The meat of the puffer can be very delicious when prepared by cooks who are experts at the job. An injection containing puffer poison is administered to humans as a part of treatment. This neutralizes the quantity of poison in a human’s body and helps to recover.

Flying is a misnomer. They're more like leaping fish, or gliding fish, to be honest. When they feel threatened, they swim really fast and launch themselves out of the water. Their massive fins enable them to stay there long enough to seriously confuse a predator. And no, they are not 'the missing link', although that's a nice idea. Wings as a method of leaving the ground have evolved several times in nature.
