Ruby Dickinson is only four years old but she is already marking her mark in the world – with tattoos. The ink-credible Welsh toddler may be the world's youngest tattoo artist, according to published reports. At an age when most kids only think about playground swings, Ruby takes tattoo lessons after nursery school. She also practices with a toy kit in her father's tattoo shop.

VERY sad in my opinion. Is this something to be proud of???
ReplyDeleteWhy is that sad? If she were taking traditional art classes and showing that kind of interest and dedication...would that be different or somehow better? I would be proud if my child showed an interest in what I did for a living and wanted to learn my trade at such a young age. Rock on, Ruby Dickinson!
ReplyDeleteAgree with Emily! Not sad in the least.
ReplyDeleteIs that a real tattoo on a 4 year old‘s arm? Is anyone that age capable of making a decision for the rest of their lives? WTF???
ReplyDeleteYou can see where the ink is smeared. It's not a real tattoo on her arm. She probably put it there with her little fake kit there that she is using. And I don't see anything wrong with her persuing art in this manner. Most 4 year olds don't have the fine motor skills to draw fine lines. Good for you, Ruby!I would have a problem if it were a real tattoo on a 4 yr old but like I said, I highly doubt that is the case.
ReplyDeleteIt's just ink from a pen. You can see how it's smudged. That's not even a real tattoo gun in her hand, it clearly says TOY kit, for anyone who can read.
ReplyDeleteAmy, it appears to be a product of her "toy kit" mentioned in the caption above, not a permanent tattoo. The look on her face is so intense! I love to see children's creativity being nurtured.
