Garter Snake

This is also known as Garter snake.The Gartersnake is a Colubrid snake genus.These are found from Alaska Canada to Central America.They are spreaded throughout the North America.This snakes are also closely related to the snake of the genus Nerodia.

Habitat-Spread throughout North America.These are proximity to water. However, in the western part of North America, these snakes are more aquatic than in the eastern portion.Northern populations hibernate in larger groups than southern ones. More about the Garter snake
