The gorgeous Chester Clock. The clock/tower marks the site of the orginal entrance to the Roman fortress and town (Deva Victrix), ca. AD 74 or 75. Rebuilt through the centuries, the present gateway dates to AD 1768 and the clock was added in 1899 to commemorate the Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee in 1897. [Source]
